We have a client that is the in the manufacturing industry. The customer is currently using the following modules: Financials, Distribution, and Manufacturing and are on version 11.5.9. Running specifically OM, Inventory, Bill of Materials, WIP, Purchasing and all Financials.
They are looking for a full time person who can lead a team of 6-10 developers and who isn't afraid to get in there and get their hands dirty. Having a strong development background and who is a subject matter expert. Someone that has been a developer in the past and they know what it takes and who understands configurations.
Responsibilities
*Strategically employ best practices in our ongoing Oracle ERP implementations, customizations and support.
*Manage all aspects of a global Oracle ERP application development, customization and support. Oracle is currently being used in over 12 countries in 4 continents.
*Make recommendations for Oracle eBusiness based solutions to solve business needs and problems.
*Manage and mentor the team of 6 * 10 Oracle developers
*Create measurable development plans and goals for team members.
*Evaluate performance of team members, and recommend areas for improvement.
*Determine and approve training needs.
*Review and verify functional requirements as written documented in SCRs (Software Change Requests). Prioritize and assign SCRs to team members.
*Coordinate development for SCR*s with delivery teams.
*Work with other application teams (PKMS, Agile, Hyperion, Business Objects, Salesforce.com, Logility and EDI) to identify and build integration needs.
*Provide thought leadership in the form of best practices, tools and techniques, technology trends as they relate to Oracle ERP.
Education & Experience
*Bachelor*s degree in the field of information systems and/or associates degree with 12+ years of equivalent work experience. Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience.
*8-10 years of hands-on experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite version 11.5.9 and higher. *Candidate must have demonstrated expertise of technical and functional knowledge of the following modules * Order Management, Purchasing, Planning, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Inventory, BOM, WIP, iStore, iSupplier.
*Experience with managing Oracle ERP in a global environment.
*Knowledge of interfaces between Oracle eBusiness Suite and PKMS / Agile a plus.
*Excellent written and oral communications.
